Chain wrenches.-A chain wrench has a spear shaped head 2 to which one and of the chain 5 is pivoted at 6, the head having hooks 7, 8 on either side for engaging the chain after it is passed round the pipe, which may be gripped against either surface 3, 4. The hooks 7, 8 are at different distances from the pivot 6 to provide intermediate adjustment of the device less than that provided by the chain links.
