Abstract

325,852. Paine, H. Scott-. Nov. 30, 1928. Motor boat fittings adapted as water inlets and outlets.-In motor boats, a permanent under water fitting, such as a stern bracket or shaft bracket, which projects from the hull of the boat into the stream line is made hollow and provided with an outside opening or openings at a point below the later line so as to serve in addition to its essential function, as an inlet or outlet for water. In the drawing, the bracket 12 is provided with the inlet passage 13 and the stern bracket 11 with the outlet passage 17. Specification 5530/81. is referred to.
