324,418. Everton, Ltd., E. T., and Padmore, A. T. Oct. 31, 1928. Stoppers with valves.- A stopper for a hot water bottle is provided with a vent hole 5 which is closed by felt washers &c. 7 and a pressure plate 8. The plate 8 has a hole or holes 9 therein, so that air can pass freely through the stopper but the passage of water is obstructed. The washers 7 are housed under pressure in a recess in the stopper.
