292,442. Carmuirs Iron Co., Ltd., and Wilkie, J. Feb. 27,1928. Atmospheric gas burners.-A burner for incandescent gas fires comprises an elongated chamber with nozzles b along the front of the top a, the top, nozzles, and sides of the chamber being preferably an integral casting; a removable bottom plate h with a rear central mixture inlet aperture ; and a series of atomizers or foraminated discs p supported beneath the nozzles b on a bearer s loosely fitted in the chamber and having legs u resting on the bottom h. The ribs v on the ends of the chamber for receiving the screws securing the bottom plate also serve to retain the bearer s against backward movement.
