Abstract

290,465. Smith, V. H. Barr-. July 4, 1927. Coat-hangers; trouser presses.-A combined folding coat-hanger and trouser press comprises a pair of tapering flat boards made in hinged transverse sections provided with screw pressing- devices, and a folding hanger provided with means for suspending the press therefrom. The coathanger 11 consists of two arms folding about a hinge 15, each arm being provided with a pin mounted on an angle piece 20 for detachably engaging a hole in a plate 13, which is pivoted at 14 to one of the press members and engages a stud 17 on the other to hold the members together. The press members 1 are connected by hinges 3 and the pressure devices consist of pivoted fly bolts 10.
