Manhole and handhole covers.-An indiarubber or like cover a for inspection openings in hollow bodies such as seaplane floats, has a beaded rim b engaging the flanged mouth of the opening and a central portion reinforced by an embedded sheet-metal disc f. To exclude dirt and to constitute pressure equalizing non-return valves, the indiarubber layers above and below the disc have openings n, m adjacent to but out of register with holes h, g in the disc and holes j, k in the rubber.
