273,260. Soc. Migeot FrÞres et Arnould. June 26, 1926, [Convention, date]. Enamels.-Enamels which contain neither lead or titanic acid are formed with a barium or strontium content, and contain the following ingredients within the stated limits. Boric anhydride 5 to 30 per cent, lime 0 to 10 per cent, baryta or strontia 5 to 50 per cent, zinc oxide 1 to 20 per cent, alkalies 5 to 15 per cent, silica 5 to 30 per cent, fluorine 0 to 5 per cent, and alumina 0.5 to 10 per cent. A specific example of a transparent enamel is given as borax 21 per cent, boric acid 11.25 per cent, baryta 25 per cent, feldspar 8.75 per cent, alkalies 11. per cent, lime 11.5 per cent, zinc 10 per cent, alumina 1.5 per cent.
