Windscreens.-Relates to vehicle windscreens of the kind in which one panel at each side of the vehicle is adapted either to be supported on the vehicle side to form part of the entire sidescreen or to be turned inwards to extend across the vehicle to meet an opposing panel and thereby form a transverse or V-shaped screen for the occupants of the rear seat. According to the invention, the panels 1, when arranged to form a transverse screen, are adapted to be pivoted to the vehicle body at points 7 near one end and at their other ends to be detachably engaged with and supported by a pair of folding arms 11, 12 hinged to the rear of the front seat 8 so as to move in an horizontal plane, while the panels may be removed from the arms and supported in sockets 6 on the vehicle sides to form portions of the side screens. Whilst supported by the folding arms, either panel may be disengaged from its socket 7, and the panel and arms moved to a forward or collapsed position in order to facilitate access to or egress from the seating space. Each folding arm preferably consists of two parts 11, 12 disposed in superimposed horizontal planes, the rear part 12, which carries at its free end a depending socket 14, being longer than the forward part 11, so that the parts may be folded to lie one above the other and the sockets 14 may be accommodated between the points of support 10 of the arms.
