Abstract
267,565. Kolko, A. March 15, 1926, [Convention date]. Movable-abutment type. - The pistons of a rotary engine of the geared-vane type are of blade form and are connected with the engine shaft and with each other through a jointed polygon linkage such that at any determined point of the blade travel the speed is the same for any blade. The blade pistons are secured on two sleeves 2, 4 loose on the main shaft 1, which are given the necessary motion by connections to the mid-points 14, 14<1>, 15, 15<1> of a parallelogram linkage 19, 20, which has rollers at the corners running on a fixed cam 22 and is driven by pins 18 with slide blocks 17 engaging slots in a flywheel disc 16 fixed on the main shaft or bv a connecting rod pivoted to the flywheel disc. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the use of an incandescent wire for igniting the mixture when the engine is used as an internal-combustion engine. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
