Abstract

259,623. Lissen, Ltd., and Richardson, R. P. April 6, 1925. Vacuum tubes. - A valveholder comprises an insulating- base, preferably a shell 1, formed to receive the valve pins, and having leaf-spring contacts 5 secured upon the base and projecting through lateral openings 3 so as to engage the pins with sliding contact. The pins are guided in grooves 2. The shell may be open at the bottom and closed at the top, or provided with a partition at an intermediate position. In a modification the valve pins fit around the shell and the leaf springs bear outwardly. In another arrangement four bores for the pins are formed in the base.
