Abstract

258,431. Senior, H. V., and Bell, W. T. Sept. 29, 1925. Fluid-actuated valves. - In a spraying nozzle for liquids, more particularly for spraying fuel into the cylinders of internal-combustion engines, the liquid is controlled by a ball valve 9 loosely mounted in a cup 10 at the bottom of a spring- loaded rod 1, the valve being opened by the pressure of the liquid which passes around the rod. Specification 259,023 is referred to.
