Abstract

257,613. La RiboisiÞre, J. Aug. 26, 1925, [Convention date]. Motor spirit consists of liquid hydrocarbon or hydrogenated naphthol, and small proportions of an aromatic amine and an alkyl ether or ketone. Hydrocarbons specified are gasolene, benzol, naphthenes, and hydrogenated hydrocarbons. Ethers and ketones specified are diethyl ether, dimethyl ether, acetone, and diethyl ketone. Amines specified are aniline, the ethyl and methyl anilines, and diphenyl amine. In an example 100 litres of benzol. 3 litres of aniline, and 1-1.5 litres of ether or acetone are used, with or without gasolene. Specification 140,041 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect 91 (3) (a) comprises the use of liquid hydrocarbon, aniline or its derivatives, and a blending agent, e.g. an ether or a ketone. Ethyl-methylketone is included in the examples of ketones. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
