Abstract

A household tooth washing device consisting of a water storage tank A, a handle C, a reverse-flow guard D, a nozzle E, an adjustable spray nozzle F, a small water-blocking guard G, a large water-blocking guard Y, and other components, for resolving the defects of current tooth washing devices, in which water enters the oral cavity but cannot timely exit the oral cavity, and water splashes out of the mouth upon washing the teeth; moreover, a water stream can only be adjusted in the up and down direction by turning the handle by the arm, and it is almost impossible to adjust the same to the left and right. The structure of the water storage tank A of the invention utilizes the principle of negative pressure to realize automatic suction of oral dirty water. The handle of the tooth washing device has a dirty water pipe, which enters the mouth with the handle. The reverse-flow guard prevents water splashing outside the mouth. The nozzles can fine-tune the vertical and horizontal directions of the water stream and can control to output water as a single stream or multiple streams. A small water-blocking guard is provided on the handle to prevent a small amount of water droplets from dripping along the handle. A large water-blocking guard is worn on the fingers or on the palm of the hand and used with the handle to collect water splashes. The components together provide the full functionality of the household tooth washing device.

Description

HOUSEHOLD TOOTH WASHING DEVICE
Field [0001] The present invention relates to a device for washing tooth with water flow/floss at a certain pressure for family members.
Background [0002] In the daily life, the improper use of toothbrush could damage enamel, even dentin of tooth. Using a certain stressed-water flow/floss is more conducive to protect tooth and gum.
[0003] At present, some household tooth washing devices have not been able to solve some fundamental problems: For example, water flushing into the oral cavity can’t be lead out in time, it causes frequent interruptions on washing tooth to have to give up at last; the stressed-water rushes to the surface of tooth, the splash will splash out of the oral cavity, the bigger the pressure of the water is, the more severe the splash will be, non-stressed water will cause no effect to be meaningless; Rotating the handle by controlling arm can adjust the flushing water up and down, but no way to adjust water flow/floss left and right (tooth has arc surfaces), and so on. The invention solves the above problems and makes the household tooth washing device really convenient for application in people's daily lives.
Detail of The Invention [0004] The existing household tooth washing device are mainly composed of a water storage tank, a power device and a handle. The present invention relates to the following components of a household tooth washing device: the water storage tank A, the handle C, the reflux cup D, the sprinkler head E, the adjustable nozzle F, the small spoiler G, the large spoiler Y. In Fig. 1, B is a dotted box representing a power device (The so-called power device is a mini water pump), the present invention doesn’t involve this part.
[0005] The water storage tank A: the water storage tank A is a closed device for storing fresh water and used-water, Fig. 1 is illustrated with a spherical glass tank as an example. The water storage tank A has a fresh water chamber X and an used-water chamber H, The fresh water chamber X has a fresh water inlet (1) with a sealing cover (5), and a fresh water outlet (2) connecting with the power device B; the used-water chamber H has an used-water inlet (3) connecting with an used-water hose (7) and an used-water outlet (4) with a sealing cover (5).
[0006] In order to achieve that when the volume of fresh water chamber X is reducing, the volume of used-water chamber H is increasing equally to generate a negative pressure, the fresh water is carried into the oral cavity from the fresh water chamber X, meanwhile the used-water chamber H collects in the used-water from the oral cavity automatically, the methods are below:
1, The water storage tank A is divided into two parts along the inner wall by a soft impermeable film.
2, A soft impermeable inner bag is placed in the water storage tank A, the inner bag has the same capacity as the water storage tank, the inner bag has a fresh water inlet and a fresh water outlet, which corresponding sleeved in the water storage tank A; On the contrary, in the case that the inner bag has an used-water inlet and an used-water outlet, it abides by the same principle.
3, A method of piston-type, as shown in Fig. 2 simply.
[0007] Fig. 1 illustrates a soft impermeable film (9) as an example, the soft impermeable film (9) can be outstretched, so that the capacity of any chamber is equal to the total capacity of the water storage tank A. The fresh water in the water storage tank A is pumped out by the power device B and reaches the handle C through fresh water hose (6); the end of the used-water hose (7) connecting with the used-water inlet (3) reaches the oral cavity.
[0008] Before cleaning teeth, pour fresh water into the tank A through the water inlet (1) at first, close the sealing cover (5); the used-water outlet (4) is sealed also by the sealing cover (5), at this point, the fresh water chamber has water, the used-water chamber has no water. When the household tooth washing device is working, the power device pumps out the fresh water, the volume of the fresh water chamber X is reduced, meanwhile the negative pressure is generated in the used-water chamber H, the used-water is inhaled into the used-water chamber H along the used-water hose (7). In this way, the fresh water enters the oral cavity, the used-water is automatically discharged from the oral cavity, at the same time in equal quantities.
[0009] The fresh water inlet (1) and the fresh water outlet (2) of the water storage tank A can also be merged into a fresh water entrance (46), the used-water inlet (3) and the used-water outlet (4) can be merged into an used-water entrance (49) also, and equipped with a perforated lid (47) respectively, as shown in Fig. 10. There are two glass intubations (48) with the power device B, which can insert into the perforated lid (47). The glass intubations (48) connect with the power device B and the used-water hose (7) respectively. The power device B and the part of the used-water hose (7) are encapsulated in a box P, by this way, it can achieve that the water storage tank A separates from the box P, it facilitates to clean the water storage tank A and to replace parts. The method of dividing the water storage tank A into a fresh water chamber X and an used-water chamber H is referred to the embodiment above.
[0010] The Handle C: The handle is an important part of a household tooth washing device, fresh water is delivered to the oral cavity through the handle. Usually, the handle is equipped with a built-in fresh water hose (6) which comes out of the power device B and connects with the sprinkler head, perhaps equipped with an electrode /wire (8) or a switch, etc, an used-water hose (7) is built in the handle C in the invention in addition. The used-water hose (7) comes out from the mouth-entering end of the handle C, the end of the used-water hose (7) is sleeved with a hollow pendulous object (10), the pendulous object (10) is made of stainless steel or other heavy food-grade materials to ensure that the used-water hose (7) always hangs down to the jaw. The fresh water outlet of the handle C has a connector to equip the sprinkler head E. The present description takes the inner screw as an example. The handle C is shown in Fig. 3.
[0011] The reflux cup D: Nowadays, there is no reflux cup in a household tooth washing device, the reflux cup is an important invention. The reflux cup D is equipped on the sprinkler head E of the handle C and enters the oral cavity with the sprinkler head E, its purpose is to prevent the splash from splashing out of the oral cavity, and collect the spray to flow back to the oral cavity. The reflux cup D can have various shapes, as shown in Fig. 4, the shape of a bowl/cup DI, the shape of a trumpet Dl-1, the mixture shapes of the above two DI-2, DI-3, or other similar variant shapes, which made of soft food-grade materials such as silica gel or other safe, gum-free materials. The present description is illustrated the shape of a bowl/cup as an example. The diameter of the opening end of the reflux cup refers to the sum of the lengths of the upper and lower dental crowns, and the height refers to the height of the bristles of the toothbrush.
[0012] The first embodiment of the reflux cup D: soft bristles (13) are implanted in the reflux cup to meet the needs of different users, as shown in D2 in Fig. 4. The body of the reflux cup D2 can be made of both hard and soft materials.
[0013] The second embodiment of the reflux cup D, namely the thick edge reflux cup: In addition to anti-splash, the reflux cup D can also cooperate with the outer hose (15) of the sprinkler head E and the handle C to assist in adjusting the direction of the water flow/floss, the edge of the reflux cup D3 is slightly thicker with a thickness of 2-4 mm, as shown in D3 in Fig. 4, in order to increase the adhesion. When in use, the reflux cp D3 touches the teeth or gums lightly, then drag, push, or move the handle up and down to fine-tune the spray directions of the water flow/floss left, right, up and down, to make sure not to leave a place for blind spots.
[0014] The third embodiment of the reflux cup D, namely the variant D4, its body (11) is short, 6-12 mm in height, narrowing the open end, its diameter is equivalent to the height of a crown, ranging from 6 to 12 mm. as shown in D4 in Fig. 4. The main function of the present reflux cup is not to prevent splash, but to help adjust the direction of the water flow/floss. When cleaning the inner side of the upper and lower teeth, the sprinkler head is oriented from inside to outside in the oral cavity, so the reflux function in this case is meaningless. The sprinkler head equipped with this reflux cup is called an inner-side tooth sprinkler head.
[0015] The fourth embodiment of the reflux cup D, namely the reflux cup with a stipule: To prevent the reflux cup D from being overturned like an umbrella by the wind, the reflux cup is equipped with an outer stipule (T-ll), or both an inner stipule (T-12) and an outer stipule (T-ll), as shown in D5 , D5-1 in Fig. 4.
[0016] The stipules as shown in T-ll, and T-12 in Fig. 4 show the relationship among the stipule (27) and the bottom (26); the T1 and T2 in Fig. 4 are the top views of the trifoliate-stipule and the quadrifoliate-stipule respectively. The stipules can also be in various shapes, such as flowers, etc. In the invention, the outer stipule’s bottom (26) connects with the outer hose (15) into an integrated whole, the inner stipule’s bottom (26) can be a part of the nozzle F to be the chassis (21) usually.
[0017] The sprinkler head E: The sprinkler head E has single-floss and multi-floss types, composed of an reflux cup D, an inner hose (16), an outer hose (15) and a connector (the connector is an outer screw in the present description), mounted on the handle C. The reflux cp D, the inner hose (16) and the water-proof ring (17) connect into an indivisible whole, fixed with the outer hose (15) and the connector to be the sprinkler head E; in the case that the inner stipule (T-ll) and the outer stipule (T-12) exist side by side, they are fixed together by screws, the sectional view is shown in El and disassembly diagram is shown in El-1 in Fig. 5.
[0018] The outer hose (15) of the sprinkler head E props up the inner hose (16), and cooperates with the reflux cup and the handle to flexibly adjust the direction of the water flow/floss. The outer hose (15) is a metal hose or a fiber braided hose or other material hose capable of satisfying the performance. The invention is illustrated with a metal hose as an example, as shown in Fig. 5.
[0019] The single or multiple holes of the inner hose (16) causes the single or multiple water flow/floss of the sprinkler head; A single or multiple through holes made in the chassis (21) of the inner stipule instead of in the inner hose (16) can work well too in the case which has inner stipule. The sprinkler head E can also be mounted with an adjustable nozzle F to switch the water flow/floss.
[0020] The adjustable nozzle F: The overall perspective view of the adjustable nozzle is shown in Fig. 6. F-l is the perspective view of the chassis (21) and the top plate (22) respectively. The chassis (21) has water outlet holes (40). Between the top plate (22) and the chassis (21) is a water-proof soft layer (20) which has corresponding through holes. The wide edge (23) of the chassis (21) has a gap (24) of a 45 degree center angle, and the axis of the chassis (21) has a water outlet; The chassis (21) sleeves through the axis with the top plate (22), A fixing ring (18) is welded with the axis, four buckles (28) are welded with the wide edge (23) to clamp the top plate (22). Pull the convex knob (19) to make the top plate (22) to rotate counterclockwise or clockwise with a 22.5-degree center angle around the axis to close or release the water outlet holes (40) on the chassis. The top plate (22) can also be carved into a pattern, as shown in Fig. F-2, the purpose is to reduce the contact surface with the chassis (21) to reduce the friction, and it is very beautiful too. F-3 is an application sectional diagram of the nozzle in the invention.
[0021] The second embodiment of the adjustable nozzle F: as shown in Fl in Fig. 7, the chassis (21) and the top plate (22) are set together through the axis (25) by the top cover (36); The axis (25) can be circular with a single water outlet, as shown in Fl-3 in Fig.7, or can be rectangular with a row of water outlet, as shown in Fl-4 in Fig.7. There are water outlets (37) on the top plate (22), a water-release hole (35) on the chassis (21), a control valve between the chassis and the top plate, as shown in Fl-1 in Fig. 7. When the spring (32) extends, the leak-proof ball (38) closes the working chamber (34); meanwhile, the water-release hole (35) is released by the water-release ball (39), then the water is released from the water outlet (37) of the top plate; press the operation button (33), the operation arm (31) moves right, the spring (32) is compressed, the water-release ball (39) blocks the water-release hole (35), the water outlet (37) of the top plate dries up; and so on. Fig. Fl-2 is an enlarged diagram of the relationship among the operating arm (31), the leak-proof ball (38), the water-release ball (39), wherein, the built-in spring (42) is used to absorb or release the elastic space of the tooth occlusion movement on the operating button (33) and the operating arm (31), in the case of switching to a single water flow/floss, the water release ball (39) can close the water-release hole (35) very closely. The operating button (33), the working chamber (34), the operating arm (31), the whole structure is consistent with a ballpoint pen telescopic structure and mechanical principle, the present description will not repeat it. The application of this nozzle in the invention is similar to the preceding embodiment. When washing teeth, even tapping the operation button (33) lightly on a tooth can easily switch between single and multiple water flow/floss. The second embodiment of the adjustable nozzle can also be used in the field of shower tools such as a sprinkle.
[0022] The small spoiler G: The small spoiler (G) are shaped like shallow dish or waves, as shown in G and G1 in Fig. 8; Or in the shape of leaves/petals, one or more pieces of them encircle together, as shown in G2 in Fig. 8; The small spoiler G is fixed on the upper half of the handle and outside the oral cavity, it can be made of silica gel, plastic and other materials, tightly wrapped around the handle, or can also be integrated with the handle material, such as shown in G-l, G-2 respectively. Its function is to prevent a small amount of water from sliding to hand along the handle, even to the switch of the handle. The small spoiler G can also be used in toothbrush and other tooth-washing tools.
[0023] The large spoiler Y: The large spoiler (Y) is similar to a container with a shallow edge, it has a dripping groove (41), or a duck-billed chute (43); Its function is to collect the splashing-out water; Its other end has a ring knob (30), or a half-ring knob (44), as shown in Y in Fig. 9; the ring knob (30) or the half-ring knob (44) can also be set at the outer bottom, or enlarged to be a hand grip (29), or a half-hand grip(45), held on finger or palm when in use, as shown in Y-l in Fig. 9. The large spoiler (Y) is worn on the left finger or palm, and the right hand holds the handle, cooperating with each other (opposite to the left-handed).

The Specific Implementation Methods [0026] Before cleaning teeth, Pour in fresh water through the water inlet (1), close the sealing cover (5) on the water inlet (1) fist of all; the used-water outlet (4) is also sealed by the sealing cover (5). Hold the handle, put the used-water hose (7) with a hollow pendulum object (10) in the oral cavity let the sprinkler head facing the teeth, switch on the power button, the power device works to pump fresh water splashing to the teeth, the reflux cup collects the splashes; the volume of the fresh water chamber decreases gradually, the volume of the used-water chamber increases equally, the negative pressure in the used-water chamber is generated, the used-water is automatically carried out through the used-water hose (6) from the oral cavity to the used-water chamber by the negative pressure.
[0027] In the case that the household tooth washing device is equipped with the water storage tank A as shown in Fig. 10, pull the box P out of the perforated lid (47) on the water storage tank A first, unscrew the perforated lid (47) on the fresh water outlet (46), pour fresh water into the tank, screw the perforated lid (47) back, then insert the box P back into the perforated lid (47) correspondingly to be in the standby mode.
[0028] In the case of the second embodiment of the adjustable nozzle, the water flow/floss can be easily switched by the operation button (33) pressed by hand or tapped lightly on a tooth.
[0029] In case of cleaning the inner surface of teeth, a sprinkler head fixed with the variant D5 of the reflux cup, namely a special inner sprinkler head is optional (of course, a common sprinkler head is optional too), meanwhile, wear a large spoiler Y on left hand. Upon washing teeth, the head is slightly backward, the splashing water is blocked by the large spoiler Y, put the dripping groove (41) downward to the oral cavity, so that the water sliding down along the dripping groove (41) to the oral cavity, then to be carried out along the used-water hose (7). In this way, there is no need to worry about that the water will be sprayed to cloth and floor. People can wash their teeth smoothly when they sit on a chair or lay on a sofa.
[0030] After finishing cleaning teeth, turn off the switch, unscrew the sealing cover (5) on the used-water outlet (4), pour out the used-water, and clean the used-water chamber. In the case of the water storage tank A shown as in Figure 10, the water storage tank A can be separated from the box P to be clean.
