Rocking horses.-A rocking horse having separately pivoted front and rear legs each with rockers is adapted to rock when the legs are fixed or to travel forwards or backwards according towhether the front or rear legs are free to pivot. The front legs 10 are pivoted at 14 to the body and are fixed to rockers 12. The rear legs 15 are similarly pivoted at 19 and fixed to rockers 17. When the legs are fixed for rocking as shown, each pair abuts against the bases of vertical arms 32 fixed to the body and carrying foot supports 31. The legs are retained in this position by means of pivoted hooked levers 23, 24 which engage cross pins 13, 18 carried by the legs. Springs 34 acts upon both pins 13, 18 so as to tend to force them apart. For forward movement, the front legs are released by a bar 26. which acts on the lower ends of the hooked levers 23 this lever being moved longitudinally by a hand lever 29.
