Boring-heads.-In boring-heads and like tools employing non-cutting steadying members, a cutter d is attached to a lever c pivoted at g and two steadying members a are secured to levers b, the three levers being simultaneously adjustable by means of a three-sided wedge h mounted on a rod i and axially slidable on rotation of a nut j. Rotation of the wedge is prevented by its three projecting sides engaging grooves in the body e and accidental rotation of the nut j may be prevented by a screw k.
