Abstract

A pillow comprises a relatively rigid outer layer 6 and a lower part 2 such that a closed space is defined between the cover and the lower part,. Within the closed space is located a series of baffles or dividers 1, 1a , and a filling of fine plastic pellets or beads. The baffles prevent drastic displacement of the fine beads and the lower portion provides a stable base. The use of fine beads in allows the user to adopt the correct and relaxing position of the head and neck for a more relaxing sleep and reduced wrinkles.

Description

Anti-wrinkle pillow The current invention relates to a pillow which will help support the face of a sleeping person in a position beneficial for the skin without causing sleeping wrinldes.
Furthermore, it will provide reliable support for the neck and head, thus contributing to a more restful sleep. The underlying idea is that the sleeping person should feel as if they have put their palm underneath their face -the pillow being a soft but at the same time firm base.
Similarly the pillow gives the facial muscles a comfortable but solid base which does not allow the facial skin to wrinkle and fold.
A common goose feather pillow has! has a consistency that sags when a sleeping person rests thcir head in the middle of the pillow because the inner part is soft and cannot provide support causing facial skin to fold. The aging process is accompanied with some changes in the facial skin -it begins to lose elasticity and gradually thins out. The skin then becomes less able to recover' from repeated and consistent scrunching during hours of sleep and it is easier for sleeping wrinkles to appear. This recurrent process night after night creates deeper wrinkles that appear more frequently in the same facial areas.
The pressure exerted by a sleeping person's face would change the shape of a goose feather pillow and it would become less capable of supporting theft head in a neck-relaxing position which in turn would lead to inadequate sleep.
Other pillows offer special mouldings, forms and matrices which make a sleeping person be careful if they have positioned their pillow in the correct position, if they are in the right position that this type of pillow recommends to sleep in and even how they turn from one side to another, all of which disturbs theft deep relaxing sleep. Furthermore, people who use these types of pillows can experience pain in theft necks caused by the materials used to make the pillows.
This embodiment is designed to change its form and take the form of the sleeping person's face. At the same time, when a sleeping person turns to their right side or to their left side, the descending curve of the pillow towards the side ends restricts pressure on the face and prevents facial skin from scrunching'.
The finest plastic pellets are used to fill the outer structure of the pillow. The pillow therefore takes on the desired form when in contact with the sleeping person's face following the facial curves and not vice versa -the face taking on the form of the pillow.
The inner matrix therefore serves as an anatomic and stable base for the entire outer structure so during sleep the outer structure does not sag dramatically. At the same time, the inner matrix is not excessively hard because the outer structure balances the texture of the embodiment.
The invention will now be described with reference to the following figures in which: Figure 1 shows the two components that comprise the pillow and complete its construction.
Figure 2 shows a general view of the pillow and its main components.
In figure 1 the outer part of the construction 1 gives the proper form and shapes the outer covering of the pillow. The outer part 1 is made of a suitable material. The inner part la creates the inner casing of the pillow. The underlying part 7 is the bottom part which closes and completes the construction. In other words, part I and Ia create a small closed space and stand at a definite distance from one another. The closed space forms a layer which is positioned symmetrically and evenly above all segments 3. This closed space is filled with the finest plastic pellets 4.
The segments 3 are designed to distribute the filler evenly. The segments 3 also keep the distribution and positioning of the particles and prevent their drastic displacement in the hollow part of the embodiment under the weight or movement of the sleeping person's head.
The lower part of figure 1 shows the inner component 2 of the pillow which is constructed as a matrix in the form shown. The inner component 2 does not change its form drastically under the pressure of the sleeping person's head. At the same time component 2 supports the outer construction providing a stable base for the filling layer 4 positioned above.
In one end of bottom part 7 of the outer construction a zip 8 is fitted which gives access to the inner part 2 and makes replacement of the inner part easier when necessary. The inner part will be available in two sizes -one size for those who prefer low profile pillows and another size for those who prefer high profile pillows. This will make replacement of the inner or outer part easier after the pillow has been used for a certain period of time without having to purchase a whole new pillow. In this way maintenance is also made easier.
Figure 2 shows the pillow in its entire view but we can still see the netting of the outer part 1, the inside matrix of the inner part 2 and the filling layer 4 which occupies the closed space between the segments 3 along the whole surthce of the embodiment.
Under normal circumstances a sleeping person would sleep on their back with their head in the middle of the pillow. Therefore the embodiment has a curved elevated surface in the middle section 6 to provide better support of the neck and head during sleep.
When turning over to the left side or to the right side the sleeping person's head follows the curve 5 (it appears more marked in the drawing to make it easier to notice) and goes slightly downwards under the weight of the head which contributes to the correct positioning of the face which, in turn, will not fold or wrinide and will remain tight and firm.
