Description

Food and beverage container
Technology field
The invention concerns food and beverage containers furnished with an openable closure or cap, as are e.g. bottles for mineral water, lemonades, water, juices, beverage cartons, dairy products, children's snacks, ketchups, but also meat tins, tins for food, pates and similar beverage and foodstuff products.
Current state of the art Food containers closed by a cap, e.g. for liquid, solid or loose products are well known. Containers for liquid products (bottles) are mostly sealed by a rotating closure. Containers for solid products (e.g. tin cans) are mostly sealed by a cap which must be mechanically removed. Containers for dairy products, e.g. plastic cups, are sealed by a aluminum cap. Containers for loose products may be sealed by a combination of both previous methods. The above-mentioned food and beverage containers may be, depending on their purpose, made from plastics, glass, tin or any other suitable materials or by a combination of the above-given materials.
No additional product or an advertising insert can be simply added to normal containers.
Containers for dairy products are well known, e.g. cups, which are furnished with a cap, with a sleeve cap positioned above. This sleeve cap is usually attached to the upper container body -snapped on by means of a locking system. Disadvantage of such locking system is that some attachment elements must be created both on the container body and the sleeve cap. Another disadvantage of this method is the way the sleeve cap is fixed to the plastic cup, this sleeve cap can be unwillingly removed or can fall away from the cup, or it can be misappropriated before selling it to the end-user.
Solution described in the CZ utility design No. 17042 is well known, where a beverage bottle is described which contains a hollow of a concave shape at one place on its surface into which an advertising object is inserted and this is attached to the bottle surface by a foil wrapping. The disadvantage of this solution is that you must have a special bottle-making mould with a hollow, which is not favorable in terms of economy.
The basis of the technical design Known disadvantages of food and beverage containers can be to a large extent removed by a food and beverage container according to the invention which consists of a body and closure. Under the term body we mean e.g. bottles for soft and alcoholic drinks of various shapes, beverage cartons, bottles and cups for dairy products, tins and bottles for ice coffee, red bull, children's snacks, ketchups, but also meat tins, foodstuff tins and similar beverage and foodstuff products. Under the term closure we mean e.g. an openable bottle top, children's tins, as well as caps that seal for instance tin cans, dairy cups, children's snacks and other types of foodstuff.
The substance of the inventions consists in that over the closure and/or under the body bottom there is a sleeve cap under which an additional product or advertising object is placed, with the sleeve cap being attached to the body surface by packaging. The purpose of the packaging is to attach the sleeve cap to the body surface. The packaging material suitable for affixing the sleeve cap to the body is e.g. shrink wrap, heat shrink wrap, adhesive tape, self-adhesive label and similar materials that will ensure the attachment of the sleeve cap to the body surface.
The advantage of embodiments of this invention is that it is a very simple method of attaching the sleeve cap containing an additional product to the foodstuff or beverage container body, with the packaging fixing the sleeve cap functioning as a product design at the same time.
Preferred embodiments will now be described to illustrate the invention and by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the attached figures, in which: Overview of the figures in the drawings FIG. 1 -schematic sketch of a bottle with an openable top, with a sleeve cap being positioned over the top attached by packaging to the bottle body.
FIG. 2 -schematic sketch of a bottle with an openable top, with a sleeve cap being positioned under the bottle bottom attached by packaging to the bottle body.
FIG. 3 -schematic sketch of a bottle with an openable top, with a sleeve cap being positioned over the top and under the bottle bottom attached by packaging to the bottle body.
FIG. 4 -schematic sketch of a tin body, with a sleeve cap being positioned over the cap attached by packaging to the bottle body.
FIG. 5 -schematic sketch of a dairy products cup, with a sleeve cap being positioned over the cap packaging by wrapping to the bottle.
Description of the exemplary embodiment
Fig. 1 to 3 is a schematic sketch of a beverage container, e.g. a plastic or glass bottle 12 consisting of a body 1 and openable top. The bottle j.Q can be made up of non-metal or metal material, and/or paper and plastic wrap, and/or a combination thereof, e.g. a beverage carton bottle.
In accordance with exemplary embodiment in Fig. 1, a sleeve cap is positioned over the openable cap, this sleeve cap is attached to the body surface 1 by the packaging 6.
In accordance with exemplary embodiment in Fig. 2, a sleeve cap 3 is positioned under the bottom 4 of body 1 and is attached to the body surface 1 by packaging.
In accordance with exemplary embodiment in Fig. 3, a sleeve cap 3 is positioned over the openable top of bottle 12 and the other sleeve cap is positioned under the bottom 4 of body j both sleeve caps are attached to the body surface 1 by packaging.
Heat shrink wrapping or self-adhesive label are used as packaging 6 for the above-mentioned examples of the sleeve cap fixing to the body surface 1. Under the sleeve cap 3 there can be positioned an additional product 5, e.g. advertising object, foodstuff product etc. Fig. 4 is a schematic sketch of a tin 10 (e.g. meat tin) consisting of a body 1 which is sealed by a cap 2. Over the cap Z there is positioned a sleeve cap, which is attached to the body surface 1 by packaging 6 formed by e.g. shrink wrap or a self-adhesive label.
Fig. 5 is a schematic sketch of a plastic cup jQ for dairy products consisting of a body 1 sealed by an aluminum cap 2. Over the cap 2 there is positioned a sleeve cap 3 which is attached to the body surface 1 by packaging 6 formed by e.g. shrink wrap or a self-adhesive label or adhesive tape.
Sleeve caps 3 for exemplary embodiment in Fig. I to 5 can be made up of plastic, glass or metal, and/or non-metal material, and/or other suitable technical materials.
Although the preceding examples of suitable material for attaching the packaging to the body surface 1 enumerates, for example, shrink wraps, self-adhesive labels and adhesive labels, other suitable materials can be used as well which will securely fix the sleeve cap 3 to the body surface 1.
Fixing the sleeve cap over the seal or under the container body bottom by means of wrap can be used for various shapes of food or beverage containers, as are e.g. bottles for mineral water, lemonades, waters, juices, beverage cartons, dairy products, children's snacks, ketchups, but also meat tins, food tins, pates and various products to be placed in foodstuff and beverage containers.
