Abstract

A device (1) for managing the cabling conductors of the equipment in an electrical cabinet provided with rails comprises at least one foot (2) which has means for detachably fixing to the rail. The foot also has at one end means for detachably fixing a main band (3) intended for conductors to pass through, said conductors extending in a direction that is substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rail. The band (3) has means for fixing to a so-called first cabling accessory (13). The first accessory has means for connecting to a second accessory and further accessories via male and female sliding parts formed on each accessory.

Description

DEVICE FOR MANAGING THE CONDUCTORS OF THE CABLING OF THE
EQUtPMENT IN AN ELECTRICAL CABINET PROVIDED WITH RAILS FOR MOUNTING SAID EQUIPMENT.
The present invention relates to a device for managing the cabling conductors of the equipment in an electrical cabinet provided with mounting support rails for said equipment.
The bands intended to manage the conducting wires intended to be connected to the apparatuses and the supporting means intended to support other elements, such as the bands intended to manage the power cables, the wiring cover supporting means in an electrical cabinet and the control and monitoring manifold supporting means, are separate elements and cannot therefore be mounted together on DIN rails.
Indeed, it turns out that some elements prevent the mounting of the other elements due to spatial requirements and overlapping.
Moreover, the main bands intended for the power conductors, for example, to pass through are specific to each type of rail.
The present invention solves this problem and proposes a management device with a simple design allowing these two types of elements, namely bands and supporting means for other cabling functions etc., to be mounted together on a same DIN rail without any spatial requirement and overlapping problem, this device being suitable to be mounted on several types of rail.
The subject matter of the present invention is a device for managing the cabling conductors of the equipment in an electrical cabinet provided with rails for * mounting said equipment, this device being characterised in that it comprises at least one foot comprising means for detachably fixing to the rail, said foot also comprising, at one of the ends thereof, means for detachably fixing a so-called main band intended for conductors to pass through, said conductors extending in a direction that is substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rail, said band comprising means for fixing to a so-called first cabling accessory.
According to a particular feature, the or each aforementioned so-called first cabling accessory comprises means for fixing to another so-called second cabling accessory, which also comprises means for fixing to another accessory, and so forth, up to the desired number of juxtaposed accessories.
According to another feature, the accessory(accessoiies) is(are) one of the accessories from the group including a band for the main conductors to pass through, a band for the fine wires to pass through, a communication or monitoring manifold, an accessory for fixing a wiring cover, or a trough supporting means.
According to another feature, these fixing means include a male (or female) slide provided on the so-called main band, which slide is intended to engage a female (male respectively) slide provided on the so-called first accessory.
According to another feature, the or each accessory comprises a male slide and a female slide.
According to another feature, this device comprises three feet for fixing the device to the rails.
According to another feature, the foot or each of the feet comprises two opposite faces each comprising fixing means, said fixing means being different on the two faces such that the foot can be fixed to two rails having different shapes depending on the presented face of the foot.
According to another feature, the, one or each foot can be detachably fixed inside an opening provided in an upright such as to present one or the other of the faces, said upright comprising at least one so-called first band for conductors to pass through, said band being integrally formed with the upright, the upright and the foot thereof fixed inside then forming a foot that can be fixed on the rail, and can furthermore be fixed in a detachable manner directly by one of the ends thereof or at the end of the so-called main band, to another cabling accessory, wherein these accessories can themselves be fixed to other accessories and so forth.
According to another feature, each toot is fixed to a band for power conductors to pass through, which is fixed to a control and monitoring manifold or to a band for the fine wires to pass through, said manifold or band for the fine wires being fixed to an accessory for fixing a wiring cover.

According to another feature, each device comprises two management devices linked with two mounting rails respectively, said devices each comprising a same number of feet, the feet of one device being located above the feet of the other, each of the assemblies comprising a foot and the linked bands and accessories thereof belonging to one of the devices comprising, at the end thereof located facing another assembly belonging to the other device, an accessory intended to fix a wiring cover.
However, other advantages and features of the invention will emerge more clearly 1 5 in the following detailed description with reference to the appended drawings given solely by way of example and wherein: -Figure 1 is a perspective view, illustrating a management device according to a particular embodiment of the invention comprising three feet and three main bands, -Figure 2 is a view similar to Figure 1, the position of the feet having been reversed such as to show two opposite faces of the feet allowing the fixing of two differently shaped rails respectively, -Figure 3 is a view similar to Figure 2 after the bands have been mounted on the : feet, o * * .* -Figure 4 is a view similar to Figure 3, after a communication and monitoring manifold has been mounted on the so-called main bands, -Figure 5 is a view similar to Figure 4, after accessories for mounting a wiring 0*** * cover have been mounted on the communication and monitoring manifold, *0*0** * * -Figure 6 is a view similar to the previous figure, after apparatuses have been mounted on the rail, -Figure 7 is a perspective view similar to the previous figure, after the wiring cover has been mounted, -Figure 8 is a view similar to the previous figure after the face-plate has been mounted, -Figure 9 is a view similar to Figure 8, a row of apparatuses having been added above the first row, -Figure 10 is a perspective view illustrating two management devices according to the invention placed one above the other and comprising cabling accessories on both sides of the rail location, -Figure 11 is a perspective view, illustrating a management device according to the invention comprising three feet each linked with a band for the power cables to pass through and with a band for the fine wires to pass through, -Figure 12 is a view similar to Figure 11 after a communication and monitoring manifold has been inserted between the two types of band, -Figures 13, 14 and 15 illustrate three different particular embodiments of a device according to the invention, -Figures 16, 17 and 18 illustrate these same three embodiments after the cover has been put in place, * . . -Figures 19, 20 and 21 illustrate three different embodiments of two juxtaposed devices according to a particular embodiment of the invention, **.. ****
-Figure 22 is a perspective view showing the possibility for a device according to the invention to form a double device only on one part, -Figures 23 and 24 are perspective views illustrating a management device according to the invention comprising a trough supporting means, before and after the trough has been put in place.
Figure 1 shows a management device 1 for conductors according to a particular embodiment of the invention, which device is intended to be linked with a mounting rail intended to receive electric apparatuses, said rails being intended to be fixed in an electrical cabinet.
This management device 1 comprises three assemblies A, B, C each comprising a foot 2 for fixing to the rail and a band 3 for the power conductors to pass through. This fixing foot comprises, on two opposite faces 4, 5, means 6, 7 for fixing to the rail, these fixing means being different on both faces as is illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, such as to allow fixing on two rails with a different shape depending on the face which is presented to the rail. Advantageously, these fixing means 6, 7 comprise clipping means.
Each fixing foot 2 comprises, on the upper surface thereof, a male-shaped slide 8 intended to engage a female slide 9 with a corresponding shape which is part of the fixing band 3 such as to fix this foot on the band, as illustrated in Figure 3.
Likewise, this band 3 comprises, on the upper face thereof, a slide 10 intended to engage a slide with a corresponding shape which is provided on another accessory as illustrated in the following figures.
In Figure 4, the bands 3 intended for the power conductors to pass through are fixed by means of male slides 10 to a communication and monitoring manifold 13 comprising, on the lower face thereof, a female slide 14 with a corresponding shape. This manifold comprises, on the upper face thereof, at the three locations situated opposite the feet, a mate slide 15 intended to engage a slide with a * *. corresponding shape 16 which is part of an accessory 17 for fixing a cover 18, as is illustrated in Figures 5 and 6, the latter figure further illustrating the fixing of the apparatuses 19 on the rails, whereas Figure 7 illustrates the fixing of a cover 18 and Figure 18 further illustrates the mounting of a face-plate 20 on the cover, said face-plate only allowing the nose of the apparatuses to pass through.
Figures 9, 10 and 19 illustrate, in partial views in perspective for Figures 9 and 10, and in section for Figure 19, the possibility, when two rails are juxtaposed, of also juxtaposing two management devices 22, 23 according to the invention.
In the case of Figure 10, the device 23 provided for the so-called lower rail comprises three feet 2 on each of which are fixed two bands 3 intended for the power conductors to pass through, on one of which is fixed a communication and monitoring manifold 13. The device provided for the so-called upper rail comprises three feet 2 each comprising, at each of the ends thereof, a band 3 for the power conductors to pass through, this being located at the lower part of the device further comprising an accessory 17 for fixing a cover 18 as well as the aforementioned communication manifold.
According to this embodiment in Figure 10, a foot 2, as used in the previous embodiments, is fixed in a detachable manner in an opening 24 provided in an upright 25 such as to present to the user one or the other of the fixing faces 4, 5 thereof which is suitable for a particular shape of rail.
Each upright comprises, at the two opposite ends thereof, a band 3 for power conductors to pass through, which is integrally formed with said upright 25 and can be linked by a system of slides 26 to other cabling accessories, in the manner already described.
Figure 11 shows a particular embodiment of a management device comprising, fixed on each of the feet 2, a band 3 for managing the power conductors and, fixed to this band 3, a band 27 for the fine wires to pass through.
According to the embodiment illustrated in Figure 12, this device comprises, on each of the feet 2, a band 3 for the power conductors to which is fixed a communication and monitoring manifold 13 to which is fixed a band 27 intended for the fine wires to pass through, all of these elements being fixed to one another by means of slides as described above. : Figures 13, 14 and 15 illustrate three different ways of fixing a cover; namely, on a communication manifold 13, on a band 27 allowing the fine wires to pass through, and on a band 3 intended for the power conductors to pass through as is also illustrated in Figures 16, 17 and 18.
Figures 19, 20 and 21 illustrate, in sectional views, three example embodiments of a stack of two management devices 22, 23 according to the invention.
In these three embodiments, the so-called upper device 22 comprises a band 3 intended for the power conductors to pass through, which is fixed to the foot 2.
The device located at the lower part 23 comprises a band 3 allowing the power conductors to pass through, which is followed by a control and monitoring manifold 13, in the case of Figure 19, a band 3 for the power conductors to pass through, which is followed by a band 27 for the fine wires to pass through, in the case of Figure 20, and a band 3 for the power conductors to pass through for that in Figure 21. These three devices end, at the part thereof located between the two devices 22, 23, with an accessory 17 for supporting a wiring cover 18.
Figure 22 shows an embodiment wherein the stack of two management devices can be pariial and only involve one of the two feet.
In Figures 23 and 24, the management device comprises three feet 2, each of the feet being fixed to a band 3 for the power conductors to pass through, while each of these bands 3 is fixed to a trough supporting means 28 fixed to said band 3 by slides, wherein said supporting means are intended to support a trough 29 as illustrated in Figure 24.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the described and illustrated embodiments which have been given only by way of example.

Claims (8)

  1. CLAIMS1. Device for managing the cabling conductors of the equipment in an electrical cabinet provided with rails for mounting said equipment, characterised in that it comprises at least one foot (2) comprising means (6, 7) for detachably fixing to the rail, a so-called main band (3) intended for the conductors to pass through and at least one cabling accessory (13, 17, 27, 28), said foot (2) comprising, at one of the ends thereof, means for detachably fixing (8) to the so-called main band (3) that the conductors pass through, said conductors extending in a direction that is substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rail, said band (3) comprising means for fixing (10) to a so-called first cabling accessory, in that said so-called first cabling accessory comprises means for fixing to another so-called second cabling accessory, which also comprises means for fixing to another accessory (13, 17, 28), and so forth, up to the desired number of juxtaposed accessories, and in that the or each accessory (13, 17, 27, 28) includes a male slide and a female slide forming the aforementioned fixing means, said accessories being stacked in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rail.

Management device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the accessory(accessories) is(are) one of the accessories from the group including a band (3) for the main conductors to pass through, a band (27) for the fine wires to pass through, a communication or monitoring manifold (13), an accessory (17) for fixing a wiring cover (18), or a trough (29) supporting means (28).
  3. 3. Management device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that these fixing means include a male (or female) slide (10) provided on the so-called main band (3), which slide is intended to engage a female (male respectively) slide (9) provided on the so-called first accessory.
  4. 4. Management device according to any one of the preceding claims, 0** characterised in that it comprises three feet (2) for fixing the device to the rails. 0*

Management device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the foot or each of the feet (2) comprises two opposite faces (4, 5) each comprising fixing means (6, 7), said fixing means being different on the two faces such that the foot (2) can be fixed to two rails having different shapes depending on the presented face of the foot.

Management device according to Claim 5, characterised in that the, one or each foot (2) can be detachably fixed inside an opening (24) provided in an upright (25) such as to present one or the other of the faces (4, 5), said upright comprising at least one so-called first band (3) for conductors to pass through, said band being integrally formed with the upright (25), the upright and the foot (2) thereof fixed inside then forming a foot that can be fixed on the rail, and can furthermore be fixed in a detachable manner directly by one of the ends thereof or at the end of the so-called main band (3), to another cabling accessory, wherein these accessories can themselves be fixed to other accessories and so forth.

Management device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that each foot (2) is fixed to a band (3) for the power conductors to pass through, which is fixed to a control and monitoring manifold (13) or to a band (27) for the fine wires to pass through, said manifold (13) or band (27) for the fine wires being fixed to an accessory (17) for fixing a wiring cover (18).

Management device according to any one of Claims 1-7, characterised in that it comprises two management devices (22, 23) linked with two mounting rails respectively, said devices each comprising a same number of feet (2), the feet of * * one device being located above the feet of the other, each assembly comprising a foot and the linked bands and accessories thereof belonging to one of the devices * * comprising, at the end thereof located facing another assembly belonging to the other device, an accessory intended to fix a wiring cover. *.** * *
