Abstract

A nail file 10 comprises a handle 12 for gripping by a user's hand, and a filing strip 14 releasably mountable on the handle 12. The handle 12 preferably has a hollow interior and an opening 16, which may be closed by a plug 18. A buffer strip 20 may be releasably mounted on the handle 12 instead of the filing strip. The spare filing strip 14 or buffer strip 20 may be stored in the hollow interior of the handle 12. A cap 22 may be provided for covering the filing strip when the file is not in use.
