Abstract

A pair of gardening shears include a main cutter 10, a secondary cutter 20 pivotally connected with the main cutter, two force arms 30 engaged with the main cutter and the secondary cutter to drive the main cutter and the secondary cutter respectively, and two opposite support plates 40 abutting the main cutter, the secondary cutter and the two force arms. The cutters and force arms are sandwiched between the support plates. Both the main and the secondary cutters have extensions forming receiving spaces 14, 24 having bent distal ends 13, 23 provided with gear portions. Both force arms are provided with a drive gear 34, 35 meshing with the gear portions.
