Abstract

A seamless undergarment for ladies comprises an insert E to prevent bundling of outer clothing in the cleft of the crotch area. The insert may be formed from a material chosen to prevent visibility of the undergarment through outer clothing worn by a user, and may be curved to fit the area in which it is worn. The insert preferably comprises a moulded medical grade polymer such as ethylene vinyl acetate. Ventilation holes (B, figure 1) may be provided in the insert for breathability. The undergarment may be worn under tight fitting outer clothing such as jeans, leggings and sports clothing.

Ladies seamless undergarment with preventative insert.

This invention relates to an innovative design of ladies underwear and sports clothing.

When women wear tight fitting clothing such as leggings, jeans, gym clothing and swimwear, there is a tendency for the clothing top bundle in the cleft at the crotch region. Women find this phenomenon highly embarrassing and it can prevent the women from wearing certain clothing or cause a lack of confidence when wearing said types of clothing.

This invention proposes a ladies seamless undergarment made from either; 89% nylon, 9% spandex, 2% cotton 62% polymide, 38% elastare lycra, 100% cotton gusset 70% nylon, 27% elastare lycra, 3% cotton 86% polymide, 13% elastare lycra, 1% cotton Or a selection of all these combinations or different ratios, containing an innovative addition of a disguised section of a medical grade polymer such as ethylene-vinyl acetate (E.V.A). The polymer must be bio-compatible for the safety of the wearer, i.e. to avoid allergic reactions. The insert will have ventilation holes at intervals to allow for breathability and will be moulded to the curvature of the area for added comfort.

The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Fig 1 shows a cut away view of the crotch area of pants with insert.

In Fig 1, the insert C. is shown in position with the body facing material of the gusset A. being cut away, this material will be held in position by stitching or some other method. The breathability holes B. are also shown, these shall be placed at set intervals to increase comfort of the wearer.

In Fig 2 the whole pant is shown from a rear view with the dotted line highlighting the insert E. when fully covered by lining D. The end point of the lining F. is also shown.

In Fig 3 the insert H. is shown in profile with the curvature G. being highlighted. This curvature will be such as to suit the natural curvature of the area for increased comfort.

In Fig 4 the insert is shown from a front view with breathability holes I, Radiuses K., L. and curved sides J. all being highlighted. The curvature of the sides, as with the curvature of the profile, shall be such as to suit the shape of the crotch area, this together with the radiuses 1., K. will further enhance the comfort of the wearer.

1. Claims 1. Ladies seamless undergarment with preventative insert to prevent the bundling of outer clothing in the cleft of the crotch area.
2. 2. Material used will prevent the visibility of the pants through the outer clothing.
3. 3. Ladies seamless undergarment according to claim 1. Contains a moulded medical grade polymer which the outer clothing cannot enter the cleft a t crotch region.
