Abstract

Gel dispensing door apparatus comprises a fabric pad (6, figure 1) with small holes (8, figure 1), a gel pack (7, figure 1), a frame (4, figure 1) and a main door (3, figure 1). The frame can be attached to a door by screws (2, figure 1). The apparatus may be refilled by unlocking and opening the main door, removing the gel pack and fabric pad, and replacing them with new ones. Also disclosed is a pull handle which comprises a fabric handle 5, a fabric pad 12, with small holes 11, a gel pack 10, clips 2, screws 6, 9, vertical keys 7, handle lock 8 and caps 4. A method for refilling the pull handle comprises removing the clips, releasing the handle lock, removing the screws and caps and replacing the gel pack and fabric pad.

Description

Gel Dispensing Door Apparatus This invention relates to gel dispensing door apparatus that when the user opens the door to leave or enter a public toilet, commercial kitchen or medical centre it covers the users hand in an anti bacterial gel. The user then subconsciously wipes both hands together, sterilising there hands of bacteria.
Figure 1 This is the design for the gel dispensing door apparatus that goes on the one side of the door. The user presses on the apparatus fabric pad (6) to push the door open. When pressed the gel dispenser will release a small amount of gel from the gel pack (7) through the small holes (8) through the fabric pad (6) which in turns wipes off on to the users hand.
The apparatus frame (4) is attached to the door by 4 screws (2).
To refill the apparatus the user unlocks (1) the main door (3) when opens by degrees on its lower hinges (5). They then remove the gel pack (7) and fabric pad (6) and replaces with new ones. Once the apparatus has been refilled, the user then closed the door (3) and relocks (1) the apparatus.
Figure 2 This is the design for the gel dispensing door apparatus that does on the opposite side of the door so the user can pull the door open by pulling on the apparatus fabric handle (5). When pulled the gel dispenser will release a small amount of gel from the gel pack (10) through the small holes (11) which in turns does through the fabric handle (5) on to the users hand.
To refill the apparatus the user removes the top and bottom clips (2) from the top and bottom part of the handles (1). Once the clips have been removed the user then turns to handle (5) 90 degrees. Once turned 90 degrees the 2 vertical keys (7) releases from the handle lock (8) and slides through the slot (3).
The user then unscrews (6/9) the caps (4) and the handle (5) apart and removes the gel pack (10) and fabric (12) and replaces with a new gel pack (10) and fabric (12). The user then re-screws (619) the caps (4) and handle (5) together and pushes the vertical key (7) back through the slots (3) on the top and bottom part of the handle (1) and turns 90 degrees to lock (8).
The user then places the caps (2) back onto the top and bottom part of the handle (1) to secure the apparatus together.
