Abstract

A shopping bag has two rigid handles 1 and 2 which have telescopic extensions 3 and 4 for engagement with the sides of a shopping trolley in which the bag is placed. Each of the handles has a U-shape hand grip 6 and 7. The grip 7 is longer than the grip 6 so that grip 7 can be hung over grip 6 to hold the bag closed. The handle 1 has a U-shape hook 5 for hooking over a side wall of the trolley. The shopping bag may have an additional strip of fabric (8, Figures 4-6) which can be passed around several of the shopping bags in a collapsed condition for storage thereof.

Description

I
DESCRIPTION
Shopping bag with two rigid handles.
This invention relates to a shopping bag with two telescopic rigid handles.
Nowadays the amount of usage of disposable plastic bags is very high and still increase. Because they are free and not enough attention is paid to recycle them plenty of those disposable plastic bags can be seen almost everywhere.
To overcome the mentioned problems the invention proposes a shopping bag with two rigid handles which has a following advantages: -can be reused many times -can be hung across a shopping trolley -can be hung on the side of a shopping trolley, both inside or outside.
-gives a shopper a free hands so a one can better and faster manage a shopping at a checkout.
An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings: -figure 1 shows the shopping bag with two rigid handles 1 and 2 which arc laid on the both sides of a shopping trolley container.
-figure 2 shows the shopping bag hang on the side of a shopping trolley using a grip 5.
-figure 3 shows the shopping bag where after putting a shopping into it the second handle is hung on the first one.
-figure 4 shows the shopping bag with an additional strip of material 8 which after folding the bag will be used for storing a few bags of the same kind -figure 5 shows a right way of use for the additional strip of material 8 in order to get a storage bag out of it.
-Figure 6 shows a few bags properly folded and stored.
Figure 1 shows the shopping bag which thanks to its rigid handles 1 and 2 is spread between two sides of a container of shopping trolley. Because at the moment in supermarkets many different shopping trolley are used and they are different from each other with regard to their width, both handles of the shopping bag have a telescopic arm 3 and 4. Telescopic arms can be moved forward and backward as the hollow handle 1 and 2 provide guidance for them. Thanks to this a length of the handles can be adjusted depending on the needs.
One of the handles also has a grip 5 which allows to hang the bag on a one side of the trolley as shown in figure 2. The grip can be used when: -trolley container is very shallow -there is not enough room to put another bag inside a trolley -the bag is being hung outside to make a room inside a trolley container.
As shown in figure 1 both handles have a holder 6 and 7 which will be used for: -firstly, carrying the bag -secondly, when the bag is fully loaded and hung outside the trolley, the holder 7 can be hung on the first holder 6 as shown in figure 3 and that is possible because the lengths of holders are not equal.
The shopping bag may also have an additional strip of material 8 which after proper folding can be used for storing two or more bags as shown on figure 6. In order to do so mentioned strip of material 8 attached to the bag right under the handle 2 will have to be moved up and then wrapping the folded bags around the strip will be fastened to the bag by fasteners 10 as shown on figure 5. An oval hole 9 in the strip will allow the U-shape holders to go through strip and at the same time they will become the holders for just created bag from strip 8.
