Abstract

A fishing rig (10) having terminal tackle including at least one hook (12) and a casting weight (14) having a specific gravity substantially the same as or slightly greater than that of the water into which the terminal tackle is cast in use. The casting weight has a body (15) and eye (16) through which the fishing line (11) of the rig (10) passes, the eye (16) being connected to the body (15) through a swivel (17).
