Abstract

Compounds of Formula (1) and dimers thereof: A and B independently are optionally substituted aryl or optionally substituted heteroaryl groups; R<1> and R<2> are each independently optionally substituted alkyl: halo: amino: -NR<4>R<5>; wherein R<4> is H, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkoxy, optionally substituted acyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted heterocyclyl; and R<5> is optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkoxy, optionally substituted acyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted heterocyclyl or R<4> together with R<5> and the nitrogen to which they are attached forms an optionally substituted 5 or 6 membered ring: -OR<6>; wherein R<6> is H or optionally substituted alkyl: or -SR<7>; wherein R<7> is optionally substituted alkyl; R<3> is optionally substituted alkyl: halo: amino: -NR<4>R<5>; wherein R<4> is H, optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkoxy, optionally substituted acyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted heterocyclyl; and R<5> is optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkoxy, optionally substituted acyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted heterocyclyl or R<4> together with R<5> and the nitrogen to which they are attached forms an optionally substituted 5 or 6 membered ring: -OR<6>; wherein R<6> is H or optionally substituted alkyl: or -SR<7>; wherein R<7> is optionally substituted alkyl; also ink-jet inks and processes and printed materials.
