Abstract
A server node 9 is provided for enabling a first communication node 3, for example the PC of a user, to communicate with a second communications node 5, for example the PC of an agent. The server node 9 generates a code in response to the first communications node 3 connecting with the server node 9, the code being temporarily assigned to an address of the first communications node 3. The server node sends the code to the first communications node 3. Upon receiving a second code from the second communications node 5, the server node 9 compares the second code with one or more codes stored at the server node 9 in a memory 10. The server node 9 enables a communication link 7 to be established between the first communication node 3 and second communication node 5 based on the second code matching one of the stored codes.
