Abstract
A baby's knee and shin protector that protects a baby's knee and shin when crawling or falling on a hard floor. The body of the knee and shin protector maybe made from a soft fleece 3 with additional padding on the knee 2 and shin 4 areas of the protector. Preferably the protector is held in place by 4 elasticated straps 1 that have releasable fastenings such as Velcro (RTM). The protector may also protect clothes from wear and tear and becoming dirty.

TITLE OF INVENTION:
*Knee skinners* - knee and shin protectors and support pads for crawling and tumbling babies secured with four easy to remove elasticated Velcro (RTM)straps for babies between 6 - 12 months old. Baby knee and shin supports with an extra special soft cushioning on the knee and shin areas, whilst a comfortable velore fleece material makes up the body of the support and secured with four easy to remove elasticated Velcro (RTM) straps. The support is machine washable.
BACKGROUND:
*Knee skinners* - The baby knee and shin protector and support pads give practical and comfortable safe support for crawling and developing babies between 6 - 12 months old when crawling on hard surfaces. The extra special soft support cushioning pads specifically added into the knee and shin area protects babies knees and shins when crawling and falling on hard floor surfaces indoors or outdoors preventing bruising and injuries from cuts and grazes from sharp objects on the floor surface. Whilst the support gives comfort to babies secured with four elasticated Velcro (RTM) straps which adjust as the baby grows.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION: *Knee skinners*
Babies between 6 - 12 months crawl and tumble on all types of floor surfaces whether indoors or outdoors and also abroad. The knee and shin support and protection pads give comfort and protection with extra special soft cushioning on the knee and shin area. The body of the support is made up of a soft cotton velore fleece and is secured to the leg by four elasticated Velcro (RTM) straps that are easy to remove and are easy to adjust as baby grows. Whilst babies wear the knee and shin protection and support pads they can crawl around on all hard floor surfaces without causing reddness and bruising to their knee and shins with comfort and also keeps babies clothes clean.
Advantages: *Knee skinners* The baby knee and shin protection and support pads are easy and comfortable for a baby to wear preventing bruising and redness to knees and shins.
Allowing babies to crawl and tumble on their knees and shins without hurting themselves on hard surfaces. The baby knee and shin protection and support pads are easy to remove secured by four elasticated Velcro (RTM) straps.
The protection and support pads keep clothes clean and general wear and tear.
Machine washable. Can be taken on holiday. Adjust with the size of babies leg with soft elasticated Velcro (RTM) straps.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
*Knee skinners* - The knee and shin protection and support pads are secured to a babys leg with four comfortable elasticated Velcro (RTM) straps. two above the knee and two on the lower leg half way and bottom of the shin. There is an extra special soft cushioning on the knee and shin areas giving protection to these areas from crawling and falling on hard floor surfaces. The protection and support pads adjust for comfort for your baby as he grows and depending on whether wearing clothing.
The protection and knee pads are available in a range of colours and are machine washable The body of the knee and shin protection and support pads is made up of a soft cotton velore fleece material for added comfort.

Claims (6)
1. A babys knee and shin protection and support garment to be worn by babys between 6 - 12 months old specifically designed to protect and support babys lower leg the knees and shins combined, when babys are crawling and or falling on hard floor surfaces
2. A babys knee and shin protection and support garment as claimed in claim 1 which when secured by 2-4 easy to remove elasticated velcroed straps around the back of a babys leg will give protection and support to a babys lower leg ideally the knees and shins combined for which designed for when crawling and or falling on hard floor surfaces
3. A babys knee and shin protection and support garment as claimed in claim 1 & 2 where soft cushion padding specifically machine sewn into the areas or the said garment where it will give protection and support to a babys knees and shins so when secured with 2-4 easy to remove velcroed straps around the back of a babys leg will enable babys to crawl and or fall on hard floor surfaces without causing bruising redness and minor abrasions to the knee and shin areas.

A babys knee and shin protection and support garment as claimed in any proceeding claim which is preferably made from a soft polar fleece machine washable and available in a range of colours with a soft protective cushionning padding machine sewn into the knee and shin areas to give extra protection and support to babys knees and shin's combined, which when secured to babys legs with 2-4 elasticated velcroed straps to the back of a babys leg gently expand with babys own natural movement.
5. A babys knee and shin protection and support garment as claimed in any proceeding claim which when secured to babys leg as explained in earlier claim onto the knee and shin areas combined protect clothes from becoming dirty and also general wear and tear. s

A babys safety leg garment as claimed in any proceeding claim which can be taken on holiday and or overseas and used to protect and support babies knees and shins when staying in apartments or villas with hard Poor surfaces such as marble which not only protect and support knee and shins will keep babys knees and shin's warm from cold floors.
