Abstract
A picture mount is made from a strip of rubber split centrally along its length to about three quarters of its depth. Photographs are slotted into the slit, holding them firmly in place. Adhesive on the underside enables it to be stuck to computer monitors and similar surfaces which are too narrow or unstable to place traditional photo frames.

PICTURE GRIP
This invention relates to a self adhesive rubber strip which grips and displays photographs, postcards and the like.
It is common practice to put photo frames on the top of computer monitors. With the advent of flat screens this is not possible.
The object of this invention is to allow photographs to be held at right angles to the surface on which they are stuck to.
Accordingly this invention comprises a strip of polyolefin, split centrally along its length to about three quarters of its depth.
The application of adhesive on the underside allows fixing securely onto the tops and/or sides of all types of computer monitors. The invention is not intended exclusively for computer monitors it can be used on other surfaces.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying diagrams in which: Figure 1 shows the picture grip in perspective Figure 2 shows the adhesive on the base of the picture grip Figure 3 shows how pictures are held in place Figure 4 shows the main application: attached to a computer screen As shown in Figure 1 the invention comprises a length of closed cell high density polyolefin, split along its length to about two thirds of its depth.

Figure 3 shows how photographs, postcards etc are slotted into the slit, the elasticity of the material holding them firmly in place.
Figure 4 shows how the invention is adhered to the top and sides of computer monitors.
Claims (4)
1. A picture grip comprising a rubber strip which grips photographs, postcards etc.
2. A picture grip as claimed in claim 1 that can display photographs, postcards etc at right angles to the surface it is stuck to, either horizontally or vertically.
3. A picture grip as claimed in claims 1 and 2 that can be stuck to a computer screen or similar surfaces.
4. A picture grip substantially as described herein with reference to Figures 1 - 4 of the accompanying drawings.
