Abstract

A garment has pulse rate sensors 3, 7 incorporated at the cuffs and neck of the clothing. The jacket has a number of other devices attached, including a rechargeable battery 2, control panel 1, LCD display 5, solar panels 6 and a speaker 8 (providing output in several languages). It also includes a "pulse translator" to convert pulse measurement into numbers, words and sound.
