Abstract

A silent anatomic alarm system comprises a wireless base unit 1 and at least one wireless anatomic unit 7 which is attachable to a user, each unit having a power source 4, programming means and a display 3, the anatomic unit being able to output an electric current onto the skin of the user on receipt of a signal transmitted from the base unit. The system can be used to alert a user at a predetermined time. The power source may be a rechargeable battery, mains electricity or solar power.

SILENT ANATOMIC ALERT/ALARM COMMUNICATION DEVICE. This invention relates to a silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device.

Alert/alarm devices are more commonly recognised in their commercial form as alarm clocks that depend upon loud high-pitched sounds.

Conventional alert/alarm devices are still, however, highly unsatisfactory. They are completely indiscriminate as they disturb/disrupt the entire environment not just the individual whom is asleep, yet oversleeping is still a universally common ailment! A silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device will provide the much sort after definitive solution that will forever end the problems created by the convention of alert/alarm devices.

According to the present invention there is provided a silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device comprising: a wireless base unit with means for programming and display, utilising multi-power sources and ; wireless anatomic units with means for programming and display, utilising multi-power sources; a receiver; means for controlling and outputting electrical current on to the skin and a means for attaching/fastening to a person.

A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which :- Figure 1 shows in perspective, the base unit; Figure 2 shows in perspective, the anatomic foot unit. Left anatomic foot unit shown only.

Figure 3 illustrates the means concealed inside the anatomic unit/s for controlling and outputting electrical current. Left anatomic foot unit shown only and;

Figure 4 illustrates the means for attaching/fastening anatomic/foot unit to a person. Left anatoniicaoot unit shown only.

Referring to the drawing the silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device comprising a wireless base unit, Figure 1 with programmer and display 1, and means for utilising multi-power sources 2, and wireless anatomic unit/s, Figure 2, with programmer and display 3, means for utilising multi-power sources 4, a means for controlling and outputting electrical current 5, a receiver 6 and a means for attaching/fastening to a person 7. Left anatomic foot shown only.

In order to be silently alerted/alarmed the anatomic unit/s, are attached/fastened to the person as shown in Figure 4. At a user programmed time or by telephone call the alert/alarm is activated and triggers the electrical alert/alarm 5, which outputs controlled pulses of electrical current on to the skin of the wearer via the plus'+'and the minus'-'contact surfaces. Claims (9)

  1. CLAIMS 1. A silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device comprising a wireless base unit with means for programming and display, utilising multi-power sources, and wireless anatomic units with means for programming and display, utilising multi-power sources, a means for controlling and outputting electrical current on to the skin, a means for attaching/fastening to a person.
  2. 2. A silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device as claimed in claim 1 wherein a means for programming, multi-programming or inter-programming the base, or base to base, base to anatomy, or anatomy, or anatomy to anatomy units are provided.
  3. 3. A silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device as claimed in claim 1 or 2 wherein a means of displaying data/information on base or anatomy unit is provided.
  4. 4. A silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device as claimed in claim 2 or claim 3 wherein a multi-power source means is provided for base or anatomic units i. e. mains adapter, battery or solar power etc.
  5. 5. A silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device as claimed in any preceding claim wherein a means for charging/recharging is provided for base or anatomic units.
  6. 6. A silent anatomic alert/alarm communication device as claimed in claim 5 wherein the means of alert/alarm is electrical current on to the skin.
  7. 7. A silent alert/alarm communication device as claimed in claim 6 wherein electrical pulse stimulation technologies are used as a means for controlling and outputting the electrical current.
  8. 8. A silent alert/alann communication device as claimed in claim 6 or 7 wherein the alert/alarm can be activated remotely using telecommunication technology.
  9. 9. A silent alert/alann communication device as claimed in claim 6 or 8 wherein a means for attaching/fastening to a person is provided.
