Abstract

235,889. Maschinenbau-Akt.-Ges. H. Flottmann & Co., (Assignees of Industrie- Reklame Ges.). June 23, 1924, [Convention date]. Jigging conveyers.-The ends of adjacent sections a, b overlap and are formed with bulging portions which engage one into the other and through which the securing bolt c is passed. Bulges may be formed at each side of a section or a single bulge may be formed in the bottom. A squared part e of the bolt engages a similarly shaped aperture in a washer d which is riveted to the section b. The bulges are shaped so that a gap h is left between them. Instead of riveting the washer to the section, it may be extended upwards to abut against the under surface of the flange of the section. When the conveyer has a bottom frame, a lug thereon may be used as a washer for the bolt. The bolts may be secured by wedges instead of nuts.
