Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus (6) for insertion into a branch pipe (3) from interiorly of a main (1) which the branch pipe penetrates, comprising a first part (7) for holding the apparatus (6) in position in the branch pipe and a second part (6'') adapted to hold the liner in position adjacent the branch pipe. The liner (2) is ruptured locally adjacent the branch pipe after being inserted in the main.
