Abstract

233,324. Bugatti, E. May 5, 1924, [Convention date]. Disc wheels. - Single or multiple disc wheels are stamped or cast with spoke members shaped so as to act as a fan for cooling the parts such as the rim, tyre, and brake drum. In the form shown, the wheel comprises two stamped-out discs A formed with staggered spoke - arms which are twisted so as to induce a current of air across the wheel. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also wheels with wood spokes, and wheels in which separate spokes are attached to the rim and hub by autogenous welding, riveting, &c. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
