Abstract
Envelopes B are produced exclusively for carrying details of a competition, offer or promotion, with a die cut hole A to enable the envelope to be hung from a display unit, and with an extended flap C bearing the promotional rules, which can be detached and retained.
Description
MONEY BAGS
This invention relates to an envelope used as point of sale material
A money bags envelope, can be of any size, but differs from an ordinary envelope in three ways:1. A competition or offer will be printed on one side of the envelope detailling the offer/competition, thus encouraging purchase of the product for which an offer is being made.
2. A Money Bags envelope will have an extended flap where the offer/competition rules will be printed. This flap extension can be removed and kept by the entrant/claimant.
3. A die cut hole will be punched at one end of the envelope, enabling the envelope to be hung in-store next to the product for which the offer is being made.
The invention will be described by way of example, with reference to accompanying drawings.
Fig 1 shows the envelope.
Fig 2 shows the envelope hanging on a display unit.
Fig 3 shows the envelope with the extended flap bearing the rules removed.
Referring to the drawings, Money Bags (fig 1) can be madeof any grade of paper. A hole (a) is die cut at the opposite end from the flap (c) to enable it to be hung on a display unit (fig 2). The details of the competition/offer are clearly printed on the front of the envelope (b). The flap is extended (c) and the rules printed on this section, which can be removed (fig 3) and retained by the claimant.
Claims (3)
1. An envelope used specifically for entering a competition or claiming an
offer on a particular product.
2. An envelope, as claimed in claaim 1, with a die cut hole at one end to
enable it to be hung on a display unit.
3. An envelope claimed as in claims 1 and 2, with an extended flap containing
the promotional rules.
