Abstract

A fuel dispensing aid comprises a sleeve of specific cross section, e.g. square or triangular, which is fitted to a forecourt fuel pump filling nozzle. Each grade/type of fuel has a different section sleeve. An adaptor with correspondingly shaped fuel inlet aperture is fitted to the vehicle fuel intake point so that only a specific nozzle can be used herewith. <IMAGE>

Description

FUEL DISPENSING AID A devise to avoid filling a motor vehicle with the wrong grade or type of fuel.
Different setion tubes are made to fit over the filling nozzle of a petrol pump or diesel pump, i.e. diesel square, 4 star round unleaded triangular.
A motor vehicle would have a hole at its filling point of a corresponding shape i.e. diesel car would have a square hole.

Claims (1)

  1. Variable section tubes fitted over petrol and diesel pump filler nozzles. Different section tubes for different grades and types of fuel.
    For example diesel square, 4 star round, unleaded triangular.
    A reciprocal fitting with a square opening for the square sleeve on the diesel pump nozzle is fitted to the diesel vehi vehicle fuel intake point.
    Appropriate corresponding fittings for other fuels.
