Abstract

A communication routing device for receiving messages from a plurality of input channels (3) and routing the messages to one of a plurality of output channels (2), wherein the routing structure includes a plurality of parallel memory devices (63) storing lookup tables and interconnection circuits (61) for selectively linking messages from one input channel to one of the plurality of memory devices depending on the content of the received message. <IMAGE>
