225,754. Huntoon, W. C. March 11, 1924. Stoppers with valves. - In collapsable tubes of the kind provided with a non-detachable screw cap, the cap 5 is provided with an inwardly extending central portion 6 which has a bevelled periphery 7 adapted to co-operate with a bevelled seat 4 in the neck of the tube 1 to close passages 9 communicating with an elongated outlet orifice 8. The passages 9 may consist of oppositely disposed arcuate slots diverging from the outlet orifice to the bevelled face 7 of the cap, or may consist of straight flared slots terminating in small orifices in the bevelled face. The lower rim 10 of the cap is spun within a clearance 3 below the screw threads on the neck of the tube.
