Abstract

The clip 3 holds lengths of material - for example rope, wire and tubing - to provide easy storage of same. The clip is moulded from a material such as PVC or nylon and includes a pinch facility 1 for securably holding the length of material to the clip. <IMAGE>

Description

WINDER-CLIP This invention relates to a winder-clip.
This winder-clip has the function to provide a simple and easy method to secure in a tidy and safe way all lengths of materials i.e. rope, nylon, hose, wire, electric wire, leads, string, plastic and tubing.
The existing market does have products to fulfil this function.
These products are in the form of reel winders which are generally of complex and expensive designs.
The winder-clip is a one piece component moulded from PVC,nylon or similar material. It has no moving parts(.:and does not rust or deteriorate. Provision of a pinch facilitytenables the winder-clip to be attached to the material being wound. It is made from a flexible material3 which allows a range of diameter materials to be sprung into the clip. Varying sizes of winderclip can be manufactured to suit specific requirements. A locking facilityrevets the wound material falling out.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:- Figure 1 shows full size of a small winder-clip Figure 2 shows full size of a medium winder-clip Figure 3 shows full size of a medium winder FIGURE 1 SMALL WINDER-CLIP Feature 1 illustrates the pinch facility to secure the wound material or to secure the clip to the material.
Feature 2 illustrates the lock facility which ensures the clip is closed to prevent the wound material falling out.
Feature 3 winder-clip manufactured from flexible material FIGURE 2 MEDIUM WINDER-CLIP Features 1 , 2. and 3 as detailed for Figure 1.
Feature 4 moulded boss to allow spacer lzandle 5 to be attached.

Claims (6)

1 The winder-clip is a one piece component moulded from PVC, nylon or similar material.
2 It has a pinch facilitylwhich allows it to be attached to the material being wound.
3 It has a securing facility2.to ensure that the wound material can be locked to te winder-clip.
4 The flexibility3.of the winder-clip allows a range of diameter materials to be sprung into the clip.
5 Varying size of winder-clip can be manufactured to suit a wide range of sizes and materials.
6 Varying shapes of clip profiles can be manufactured.
