Abstract

222,746. Noble, G. W. R. Feb. 11, 1924. Paving blocks.- Blocks for flooring and like purposes are provided around the edge alternately at the top and underside with equidistant recesses and projections, the arrangement being such that adjacent recesses and projections intersect at their extremeties with a point juncture b<3> in plan. The blocks a may be of cylindrical shape as shown in Figs. 1 and 3 and be provided around the edge on the top and underside alternately with relatively staggered recesses b, b<1>, the contours of which in plan are arcs having a radius equal to that of the block. The recesses b, b<1> of the block shown in Fig. 7 are of angular form and the sides may be tapered as at h to provide spaces for a binding- medium.
