221,366. Koppel, K. Oct. 3, 1923. Vaporizing by air currents and the like; vaporizing by heat; vapours, delivering.-Relates to apparatus for dispersing volatile disinfectants or the like. According to the invention, an annular V- shaped trough 1, which contains a volatile disinfectant or the like, has a central tubular aperture 3 communicating with a steam or compressed air or gas generator or container below. The trough is closed on its upper side by a chamber 4, mounted thereon, which is pierced with holes 5 through which the gas or steam issues to impinge on the. blades of the fan 11. A small portion of the gaseous fluid issuing from the lower reservoir or generator passes through holes 2, 13, in the annular trough and, becoming charged with the volatile substance, again mingles with the main stream issuing by way of the central aperture 3. A spring-loaded valve 9 in the top of the chamber 4 allows any excess pressure to be relieved.
