Abstract

The tool has an auxiliary support 103, 105 for carrying the tool and/or providing an extension via which additional, for example, shoulder pressure can be applied to the tool during use. The support has arm(s) which locate(s) in the sides or rear of the tool body. <IMAGE>

Description

POWERED TOOL CARRIED BY HAND The design is primarily related to the machine housing of a tool's main body which can be hand operated with power.
The machine housing is equipped with branch arm section which is adjustable for backward extension. The end of the branch arm section is installed with a handle for the tool being able to be held by a user or it being able to be pressed against the user's shoulder. Thus the pressure is imposed upon the powered tool to lessen the burden of the user or for convenience of his holding. It will increase the convenience to the user who works at higher, more distant or deeper place.
The traditional tool with power for hand-carry has a fixed handle for it being held by the user. But in the practical application of the tool In the work, there is some inconvenience for it being out of reach due to the restriction of the circumstance and the position of the user.
Besides, during the operation of making metal points, particularly the work in the level, the user has to use the force of the forearm to press forward so that he is easy to be exhausted in energy. This design is to set up a branch arm section installed the electrically powered tool's main body which is adjustable for backward extension and can be locked so that the user may regulate its length in most suitable manner according to need. For example, it can be hold when the user has to bend his body to make drilling downward for long time or he has to make holes at more distant place, deeper place or higher place. As he make holes, he may press the tool against his shoulder to press forward with force. Thus it can increase the user's convenience and lessens his burden as well.
Brief description of the drawings: Fig 1 is a practical example of the branch arms to be equipped at the both sides of the machine housing.
Fig 1-1 is overview of the Fig. 1 Fig. 2 is the first practical example of branch arms to be equipped at the top of the machine.
Fig 3 is the second practical example the branch arms to be equipped at the top of the machine.
Fig 4 is the practical example of the arms installed at the back of the machine housing.
Fig 5 is the second practical example of the arms installed at the back of the machine housing.
Detailed description of the invention In recent years, the development hand-carry powered tools increased the convenience for the people in work, especially they were working to make holes, threading, drilling, striking and punching with the electrical tool to reduce the consumption of user's physical strength. But in fact, there are some defects which are yet to be improved. If the user can increase the length of the handle in the tool according to the need of the work, he can reduce the times of his body's movement when he is making holes in the supporting frame at high place or in the tunnel. For the worker who has to bend his body for long time, it would reduce his fatigue if he can adjust the branch arm to the length mostly suitable for human body in the biological engineering. To a worker who makes holes with the powered drill far long time, he may reduce his consumption of body strength by means of the adjustable handle for length so that he can press the tool against his shoulder. Based upon the above demands, the applicant provides the following design to improve the traditional tool. The design is mainly to use the electrically powered motor or air pressure motor, reducer elements and output axis as the main power equipments and to set up the branch arms which can extend or contract or lock at the upper, lower, left and right sides of the machine housing or near the back of the operator. The end of the brnach arm is equipped with a handle for the grasp by the user or the handle for the grasp by the user or the handle for user's shoulder to serve for the use by the user or loaded on the user's shoulder to increase his convenience andreduce the burden of the physical force.
As ndicated in the Figure 1 and 1-1, the machine housing 101 has base holes 102 on the branch arm at its two sides for the threading of the branch arm 103. The end of the branch arm 103 is installed with handle 105 which can be held or pressed against the user's shoulder. The base of the branch arm has installed adjustable buttons 104 on its both sides for setting loose or adjustment or switch tight to lock the branch arm. They can be adjusted according to the need.
As indicated in Fig. 2 as a practical example of the branch arms set up at the top of the machine housing, the top of the machine housing 201 is installed with the branch arms base 202 for the insertion of the branch arm 203 with the coupling threading with that of the base 202. The end of branch arm 203 is equipped with a handle 205 for the holding by the user or being pressed by the user against his shoulder Near the holes 204 of the branch arm base, the branch arm is equipped with an adjustable nut 206 for the relaxation, adjustment or locking of the branch arm 203. As shown in Fig 3, the upper side of the machine housing 301 is equipped with a base of branch arm holes 302 for the installation of the branch arm 303. The end of the branch arm has a handle 305 for the holding or being pressed against the user's shoulder. The side of the base for holes is placed with a regulating button 304 for relaxation, adjustment, and locking of the arm. As indicated in Figure 4, the back of the machine housing 401 is installed with a base for holes of the branch arm for the insertion of branch arm 403. Its end has a hnadle 405 for holding by the user or being pressed against his shoulder the side of the hole base 402 is installed with a regulating button 404 for relaxation, adjustment and locking of the branch arm.
As indicated in Figure 5, the back of the machine housing 501 is installed with hole base 502 for the branch arm for the turning in of the branch arm 503 which has a coupling and threading section. Its end is installed with a handle 505 for holding or being pressed against the user's shoulder. The threading section has a regulating button with the threaded lines on it 504 for relaxation, adjustment, or locking of the branch arm.
Based upon the above statement, the subject case is that a machine housing of the hand-carry powered tool is equipped with a handle adjustable for extension or contraction in the direction of the operator to increase his convenience and comfortableness to reduce the consumption of his physical strength. It is practical, feasible and definite functional. Please review the application of it according to the laws and regulations.
