and other pasteous materials comprising a jar shaped container provided with an attachable upper cover member, in which container there is provided. a circular upper disk-shaped mem ber and a circular lower disk-shaped member, between which the cream or the like is posi tioned, there being provided screw-type means between said two circular members, the arrangement being such that when the up per circular disk-shaped member is rotated, the distance between the two circular mem bers decreases, forcing out the cream or the like through an opening provided in the upper circular member.

2. A dispenser according to Claim 1, in the form of a jar having a removable lid, provided with a cylindrical inner configuration and with an inner screw-thread, there being provided a disk-shaped screw-threaded insert adapted to engage the said screw-thread of the jar, said insert being provided with one or more holes and with means for rotating said disk in said screw-thread, and with a lid.

3. A dispenser according to Claim 2, pro- vided with a central hole in the disk.

A dispenser according to Claim 1, where inside a jar-shaped container there is provided an arrangement of two disk-shaped members, there being rigidly attached to the upper one a downward pointing screw, the lower disk of similar diameter being provided with a central screw-thread fitting such screw, the rotation of the upper disk resulting in an upward movement of the lower disk, so as to force out pasteous material through an open ing provided in the upper disk.

A dispenser according to Claim 1, 1 where inside a jar-shaped container there is provided a system comprising a member in the form of an inverted cup, provided with an opening in its upper disk-shaped member, there being provided a cylindrical sleeve at tached to the outer container and to the cup shaped member which can rotate in said sleeve, there being provided a lower disk pro vided with an external screw thread fitting a screw-thread at the inner wall of the cup shaped container, there being provided a spring pressing said lower disk upwards, the arrangement being such that rotation of the upper disk results in a gradual upward move ment of the lower disk.

6. A dispenser according to any of Claims 1 to 5 provided with an antimicrobial material applied to a carrier supported on the inside of the lid of the jar.
