Description

SPECIFICATION Wheelbarrow cum bench This invention relates to a wheelbarrow which becomes a bench when the handles are moved to a suitable position andthewheelbarrow is tipped up A specific em bodi ment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which The legs ofthewheelbarrow 1 and the handles of thewheelbarrow2form a suitable supportfora higher bench.
CLAIM
1. A wheel barrow su itable for bui Iders and gar- denerswhich becomes a bench as required by changing the position ofthe handles.
CLAIMS 1. Awheelbarrow which becomes a bench, as required, by changing the position of its handles means.
2. A wheel barrow including a body in theform of a container or bin having leg means and handle means mounted thereon, said handle means being movabletoa position inwhich, in conjunction with the body, it can serve to supportthewheelbarrow in an upside down position in which an upturned bottom wall ofthe body may serve as a bench.
3. Awheelbarrow as claimed in claim 2, wherein the handle means is interchangeable between two alternative positions, in one ofwhich the handle means can supportthe wheelbarrow in the upside down position.
4. Awheelbarrow as claimed in claim 2 or3, wherein, when the wheelbarrow is supported in the upside down position by the body and handle means, the handle means and leg means project upwardly to form a supportfor a bench above the upturned bottom wall ofthe body.
5. Awheelbarrowas claimed in claim 2,3 or4, wherein the body is of generallytriangular shape in side elevation, the apex of the triangular shape being downwards when the wheelbarrow is in its upright, conventional position of use, and wherein the bottom wall of the body terminates at said apex.
6. Awheelbarrow as claimed in claim 5, wherein the leg means comprises two legs projecting from the body adjacent the apex thereof and at or adjacent opposite sides ofthe bottom wall of the body.
7. Awheelbarrowasclaimed in claim 6,wherein wheels are mounted adjacent the apex of the body and on the side of said apex opposite to the legs.
8. Awheelbarrow as claimed in claim 7, wherein the handle means comprises two handles mounted on the body so that, when moved to supportthe wheel barrow in the upside down position, the ends thereof project upwardlyfrom the body at or adjacent opposite sides of the bottom wall and at positions spaced from the legs.
9. Awheelbarrow as claimed in anyone ofthe preceding claims, including a pairofwheels mounted for rotation about a common axis.
10. Awheelbarrow constructed and adapted for use substantially as described and illustrated.
