Packing powders &c. into receptacles.-Relates to machines in which powdered and like materials are delivered into packets &c. from a weighing or measuring apparatus. The receptacles d are pushed by a plunger g into engagement with projections e on a flexible steel or other endless band conveyer a having its surfaces vertical. The conveyer moves the receptacles intermittently to the right over a support f which is, in part, inclined so as to raise them into engagement with the lower ends of filling funnels c in readiness for the filling operation.
