Abstract

212,834. Taylor, F., and Battersby, A. Sept. 3, 1923. Lateral-splash guards of the kind comprising resilient screens 12 disposed in front, on the outer face, and to the rear, of a power-driven vehicle wheel, these screens being carried by members depending from a clamp upon the axle on the inner side of the wheel, have the clamp 2 fitted with tubular members 5, 6 which are bent at right-angles and have apertured flat extremities 7 bolted to an angle-iron frame 10 carrying the screens. The screens are riveted to the frame and are connected together by aluminium angle-pieces 13 riveted thereto.
