Plastic compositions containing oxychlorides.- Cements resembling stone, marble, and pottery consist of a mixture of zinc sulphate, barium chloride, ammonium chloride, zinc oxide, and silica, with or without limestone. In making the composition, the first three ingredients, dissolved in water, and part of the zinc oxide are mixed together, evaporated to dryness, and heated to 340‹, the remaining ingredients being added after cooling.
