Abstract

210,111. Choat, F. W. March 16, 1923. Feeding-appliances for animals.-A pig-feeding appliance comprises a conical hopper A for the supply of food to a trough E, the supply being controlled by a valve H loosely resting within the hopper outlet, and coaxial therewith. A ring J is attached to the valve and lies below the outlet in such a position that it is moved by the action of the animal feeding, thereby opening the valve H. The hopper is carried in a ring D on the trough, and below the outlet is a conoidal projection K.
