Clips, pivoted-jaw.-A hat &c. holder, for theatre seat backs, &c., comprises a base-plate a of sheet metal with upturned edges b, a spring-pressed lever e pivoted between lugs on the baseplate and a cover-plate o fitting tightly over the edges b of the base-plate. One end k of the lever is dome-shaped and projects through a hole in the cover-plate, the other end g is inturned and carries a rubber block h to press on the edge of the hat.
