Abstract

A display illuminator for incorporation in printed circuit boards comprises a miniature incandescent lamp (1) which is inserted into a plastics holder (2) having pairs of contact flaps (11,12) for mechanically fixing it in the printed circuit board, these contact flaps (11,12) being part of the holder contacts (9) to which the lamp current lead-in wires (3) are welded or soldered and the lower flap (12) of a pair of contact flaps (11,12) being bent out of the part of the holder contact (9) located below it. <IMAGE>
