Abstract

The anchor 10 comprises an attaching portion 14 to attach an article to the anchor and a securing portion to secure the anchor to a structure. The securing portion 15 comprises a number of teeth 16, 18 arranged one after the other in a convex configuration. Also claimed is the anchor as part of an arrangement including an attaching device for attaching an article to the anchor. Also claimed is the anchor as part of an installation assembly which includes a tool for installing the anchor, the tool including a holding portion for holding the anchor for installation. Also claimed is a method of installing the anchor by cutting a slit and then installing into the slit so that the anchor teeth engage with one side of the slit. The anchor is preferably made from a thin plate. The teeth have portions which fold over one side of the teeth and the folds may be arranged such that they fold on alternate sides of the anchor
